WHAT IS TRUSTPILOT?

Trustpilot is a private company that earns money by requiring companies like ours to pay them if we wish to collect reviews to gain more positive ones, as a negative customer is 100 times more motivated to leave a review. This is a very good business model for Trustpilot, but one we refuse to pay into.

We sell approximately 100 jackets daily and, over the past 9 years, have received a total of 197 reviews on Trustpilot, a small portion of which are negative. We are naturally sorry about this, but unfortunately, there are customers who are very difficult to satisfy, even though we do a great deal to find solutions to problems that may arise.

We have refused to pay Trustpilot the approximately DKK 6000 per month they demand for us to collect reviews from all our customers, as we do not wish to support a company that profits from exploiting the fact that a dissatisfied customer is 100 times more likely to leave a review compared to a satisfied customer, and we generally do not believe that a private, profit-driven company like Trustpilot is trustworthy.
